The Fullerton College Foundation was established in 1959 to provide financial assistance to students pursuing their education credentials or degrees. The Foundation offers a variety of programs and services, including grants, scholarships, loan programs, career counseling, tutoring, and mentoring services. To apply for any of these programs or services, you must first complete an application form. This form can be found on the Foundation's website or obtained from the Financial Aid Office at Fullerton College. The most important step to take when applying for a program or service offered by the Fullerton College Foundation is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act (CDA) application to the CSUF before the priority filing date.
Grants are typically awarded based on financial need, while scholarships are usually awarded based on academic merit. Loan programs are available to students who demonstrate financial need and have a good credit history. In addition to these programs, the Foundation also provides access to resources such as internships, job fairs, and workshops. These resources can help students succeed in their educational pursuits and make obtaining their education credential or degree more affordable. Once you have completed the application form and submitted it along with any required documents such as transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation, your application will be reviewed and approved. You will then be notified of your eligibility for the program or service you applied for and be able to access the resources available through the Foundation. The scholarships offered by the Fullerton College Foundation are available to new and permanent students who will be enrolled in a Faculty of Education program during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Taking advantage of all that the Foundation has to offer can help make your educational goals more achievable.
